Easter

You know when I said, "Next holiday I will work."

Yeah, that didn't happen... I mean, I'll get my work done, don't get my wrong, but it'll be a squeeze!

maybe that's what I like... ?

But anyways, what's done is done!

I'm excited about making a poster to introduce myself as school officer :) Sad, I know, but I like my creative side!
I'm loving this summery weather as well ~ I've taken to working outside in my short shorts and a vest tee ~ YES TAN! :P hahaa
I've been rocking out to We Are Scientists' album Barbara also ~ I love the lyrics of Pittsburgh, I Don't Bite, Nice Guys and Rules Don't Stop <3.
Strawberries are yum at the moment too!
I absolutely LOVE malteaster bunnies!! but now Easter has passed, I'm gonna be sad they're all gone...

My easter holiday has been really good.

I surprised myself by thoroughly enjoying Gold DofE. I absolutely LOVED being with my friends ~ it was amazing to be together for that time outside of school and I really felt that I connected and got to know them better. We got through some really hard times, and even though we were exhausted, angry, wet, upset and hungry we got through it together and really helped each other along. With the added bonus of a certain hot man, perfect sunny weather (especially for Wales) and the chance to tan (or burn as the case may be for my whitey friends) I had an amazing time.

Devon was its usual busy self. With the usual family good times and bad. But thats standard and nothing can be done there so we just gotta sit back and ride this rollercoaster to see where it'll take us.

Going with Kris to MK was a good day, I hope we can go out more with less of a time limit and more money!

But that's pretty much me this holiday!

I hope everyone else had a holiday as good as mine!

Un travail... qu'est-ce que je vais faire?

So the time has come.

Sixth form. OLDNESS. Decisions on everything~subjects, Unis, future careers...

Why don't adults understand that we haven't experienced the world enough to truly know what we want to do?
Why do they tell us time and time again that we must choose now?

I look like I know what I want to do, don't I?

But do I really?

I'm not so sure...

I'm scared of the future...

Thing is, there are so many variables. And my granddad echoed perfectly what is going on in my mind...

"I think it's a waste of all those brains of yours."

And I think he might be right...

What do I do?

2010-2011

The festive season always seems to take ages to get here but is then gone so soon!

I'd been looking forward to the holidays so much for a break and some time to do work. Yes, I had a break, no I didn't do work...
So, I have one day before school starts. 2 Essays, a billion other pieces of work. Procrastination. Not so good once time passes!

Next holiday, I MUST do my work ASAP!

Oh well, can't do much about it now! :P

Hopefully I can get it all done tomorrow :/

Recently

Good things have happened to me recently :)
Summer at Britannia Royal Naval College I was Best Female Cadet and Dauntless Division
My GCSE's went so well and I got good grades 8A* 1A 1B
Cadre did not kill me!! I got grade C so not too bad:)
I won the Chemistry prize at school for GCSE's
I was 2 marks off distinction for my Silver Drama Exam.
Lacrosse I have been playing for the second team but borderline first team which is so much fun and I'm going to try out for county Lacrosse

So all is well at the moment!!
I'm finding the IB kinda hard at the moment~there's so much to do... I have enough to do for my Creative and Active... Service, I'm finding slightly harder... Seems I'm not the most charitable person!!
TOK is difficult!! I'm meant to do a presentation for it... not looking forward to it!! :P but oh well, what can you do?

But thats me for the moment :)

Blue Skies and Ice Cream

So I'm just sitting outside, in my towelling robe after my daily run and shower with heat blasting onto my legs, a cool breeze drifting past my face, willing time not to pass.

Why am I doing this?

I'm procrastinating. Once more.

I don't want to revise! Well, it's not that I don't want to, it's more a case of I can't be bothered. 'Cause I'm lazy.
I gotta revise maths, Geography and Drama supposedly. And English. And French. And extra Drama.
11 exams in the weeks to come...Jeez..
But then a blissful 9 weeks of holiday~hopefully with this weather still!

Reason why I'm panicking and willing time not to pass?

I've got today and Sunday to revise in, and thats it, before my maths exam. I know, Screwed right?

This is all down to me thinking I'd have enough time to revise in 7 days. But I didn't. So I agreed to go see my Chinese family in London. But it should be pretty immense~I'm going to see how many elephants I can find :) (and I get yummy food :P )

You think I'm crazy, right?

Well I'm not (well not on this subject anyways :P )

I reckon they're pretty cool and they're being auctioned off for charity, so it's for a good cause :)
